Wall mounted air conditioning systems, or split system air conditioners, comprise of two different units; the indoor and outdoor unit. The indoor unit is mounted on the wall and the
outdoor unit is usually placed on the ground or against a wall. The two units are connected by piping which is fed through the wall.
